I am pleased to say that we have recently installed one of our monitoring devices at the Rothamsted Research site at North Wyke Farm Platform. This has been set up in their Meteorological Enclosure and will monitor heat stress risks in grazing conditions. The results will be compared to the other meteorological data that they are collected and cross referenced with the performance and behaviour of the beef cattle on their grazing trails.
We will be working with Jordana Rivero-Viera at North Wyke and her work on the Global Farm Platform and the results will be reported in real time on this website.
